Healthcare Recruiter

Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • Develops and executes effective recruiting plans and strategies.
  • Manage full life cycle recruiting for a high volume portfolio of requisitions
  • Source, phone screen, schedule interviews and manage the entire candidate process, including offer negotiations and closing
  • Foster relationships with candidates to ensure they have a positive experience
  • Confers with management at all facilities to identify recruiting needs. Reviews and clarifies job specifications, competencies and skills required.
  • Ensure consistent communication regarding recruiting efforts by providing status updates to clients and leadership teams through meetings, email updates and reports
  • Conducts regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • Conducts initial interviews and forwards qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  • Positively brands company and builds applicant pool by researching and contacting community services, colleges, agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities & benefits; making presentations; and maintaining rapport.
  • Sources applicants through various methods including media, job sites, career fairs, schools, networking, agencies, community services, etc.
  • Researches and recommends new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
  • Builds a network and develops a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
  • Coordinates background checks, references and drug tests.
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ensures all candidates are cared for through the life of the recruitment process; including regular contact and follow-up.

Requirements:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in healthcare recruiting
  • Demonstrable track record of successfully managing the full recruiting lifecycle, which includes the ability to develop a pipeline of candidates
  • Experience working with an applicant tracking system with a level of detail orientation that maintains strong data integrity and allows for great reporting from the ATS
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication
  • Exceptional organization skills with high attention to detail
