The Managed Care Specialist will support the contracting activities of the Managed Care Department, including but not limited to coordinating all activities between Managed Care and the appropriate business owners, Clinical leaders, and external parties. Perform weekly reports and provide to customer/or project leads from team. Perform invoicing duties for any products ordered from outside vendors. Provide daily support to the team out in the field with other job duties as assigned.


  • Analyzing data and creating reports to be used in a presentation capacity.
  • Create and maintain effective relationships with Operations and external parties related to contracting activities
  • Prepare reports and presentations to effectively monitor and report administration activities
  • Focus on client satisfaction through purposeful internal and external communication
  • Project management support
  • Maintain inventory of contacts, processes, and relationships regarding managed care programs
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Three years of relevant experience
  • Must be fluent in Microsoft Office applications
  • Expert in Excel and report creation
  • Data dumping knowledge and abilites 
  • Strong written/oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional organizational and planning capabilities
  • Ability to manage to deadlines
  • Ability to work independently
  • Self-directed with a strong bias for action
  • Excellent customer relationship/management skills
  • Ability to positively handle conflict
