POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Residency Training Recruiter is responsible for connecting with residency programs and other clinical training programs consisting of Family Medicine/Practice, Internal Medicine, Nurse Practitioner, Nursing, Therapy and Medical Assistant throughout their respective region. Partnering with respective programs offering educational information and topics related to the business side of medicine. In turn creating a pipeline of qualified provider and clinician candidates for US Medical Management, Visiting Physician Association, Grace and Comfort Hospice and Pinnacle Senior Care locations on a nationwide scale.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Successfully partner, engage and interact with residency and training program in a respective region
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with residency and training programs over the course of the academic year hosting educational recruiting events whereby creating a continuous pipeline of provider and clinician candidates for US Medical Management
  • Provide educational topics to all interested residency and training programs as well as to interested residents and clinicians via educational newsletter, virtual meetings and onsite educational presentations consisting of noon conferences, dinners, educational forums/events, journal clubs and other onsite or off-site educational venues as necessary
  • Maintain standards of evaluation of residency and training programs, ability to cultivate new residency and training program relationships as needed and ability to cultivate residency and training relationships within the rules and regulations of any particular program
  • Produce monthly referrals of qualified provider and clinician leads to appropriate recruiters ensuring providers and clinicians are properly vetted as well as followed up on by the appropriate recruiter in a timely manner with a goal of cultivating leads-to-hires on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
  • Maintain tracking within applicant tracking systems (ATS) of all referrals sent to recruiters as well as maintaining relationships with all providers and clinicians encountered
  • Responsible for accurate documentation of calls and status of provider and clinician candidates in the ATS
  • Maintain tracking information regarding residency and training programs, residency and training program forecasting, residency and training program events as well as provider and clinician referrals on a weekly basis
  • Ability to meet monthly, quarterly and yearly recruiting metrics related to residency and training program relationships, leads-to-hires, interview and event metrics
  • Attend State, Regional & National conferences where appropriate

REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelorís Degree
  • Previous Provider Recruiting experience
  • Previous sales or Provider Staffing experience preferred within a healthcare system, hospital or healthcare management environment
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent public speaking skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong decision-making/judgment skills
  • Exceptional negotiation skills
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office, spreadsheet and database management)
  • Working knowledge of candidate tracking software programs (Salesforce, CRM, Bullhorn, etc.)
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision/direction
  • Ability to work well with deadlines and stressful situations
  • Willingness to work in a team environment
  • Ability to travel in a regional or national capacity at least 50% by plane or car
